A leak images via GizmoChina has spurred up speculations about OnePlus X – speculated upcoming phone from the house of Chinese buzz maker OnePlus. Recently, in an interview, OnePlus CEO Carl Pei disclosed his plans of expanding their product line. In the interview with USA Today, Pei confirmed that the new phone would arrive in the market before Christmas. Now, this latest leaked OnePlus X could be that next big thing to arrive from OnePlus.

Pei in his interview did not reveal anything about the specs but If rumors are to be believed, the new OnePlus smartphone will come with dual cameras, a fingerprint sensor and in all probability Snapdragon 615 chipset. As per the leaked images, the OnePlus X appears to be sleek, made of polycarbonate with two speaker grills at the bottom.  Overall, the design seems to inline with the OnePlus existing philosophy.

In the past, a similar twin camera setup was most notably seen in HTC One M8. HTC in its phone used second imagery sensor for gathering more information to allow users to make focal adjustment in snaps after they had already been clicked. It is most likely that OnePlus also uses the secondary sensor on the similar lines.

On the rear side, a fingerprint sensor can be seen in the floated images. Earlier, with HTC One Max Taiwanese maker also did a similar experiment by placing a fingerprint sensor on the back panel. Upcoming Google’s Nexus devices are also expected to flaunt fingerprint sensor on their back surface.

In conversation with Bloomberg, Pei gave some indications that the new phone may target people “who appreciate design over specs.” As per rumors published on GizmoChina the phone will be revealed in October with a price tag of $249 (approx. rupees 16,434).
