Redmi Note 12R specs tipped online; To be a rebranded Redmi Note 12 5G

Redmi is all set to launch the Redmi Note 12R Pro in the Chinese market on April 29, 2023. Amidst all this, the key specifications and features of the device have been tipped online. A report by Xiaomiui suggested that the Redmi Note 12R Pro is going to be the rebranded version of the Redmi Note 12 5G, which is already present in the Chinese market. According to Xiaomi, the upcoming smartphone will have a single RAM and storage variant, including 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. It is being said that the specs of the Redmi Note 12R Pro will remain identical to that of the Redmi Note 12 5G.

Redmi Note 12R Pro expected specifications and features

The Redmi Note 12R Pro could ship with a 6.67-inch FHD+ Samsung AMOLED display coupled with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1200 nits of peak brightness. The device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 processor paired with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. The handset will be available in three different colour variants, including gold, white, and black.

The Redmi Note 12R Pro will operate on the MIUI 14 based on the Android 13 operating system. In terms of optics, we will get to see a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 48MP primary shooter and a 2MP depth shooter. For the sake of selfies and video calls, the device will rock an 8MP front sensor. In addition to that, the device will get a microSD card slot, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, IP53 rating, and NFC. For security purposes, the handset will get a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It will be powered by a 5000mAh battery along with 33W fast charging support.
