There have been reports that the company is working on the next Note Series which is Redmi Note 12 Series for the Chinese as well as Indian markets. Fresh leaks have surfaced online that tell us about the models that will be included in the Note 12 Series. Let us know more about the upcoming series.

Redmi Note 12 Series

The Redmi Note 12 Series, following the trend of the Note 11 Series will have 3 devices- Redmi Note 12 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G. The brand is expected to launch the series in the home market first followed by the Indian market. All the 3 phones will come with 5G support in India.

No information has been leaked about the specs of the upcoming Note 12 Series smartphones, so we will have to wait for some time to know more about the specs and features.

Earlier reports showed the devices receiving certifications from China’s 3D authority which hinted toward an imminent launch. While some speculate a November launch, some claim the series might get launched towards the end of October itself. The certification website revealed three model numbers- 22101316C, 22101316UCP, and 22101316UC.

A recent report claims that the Redmi Note 12 series could be powered by the newly-launched MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC. This chipset is coupled with an ARM Mali-G68 GPU and can support a 200MP main camera sensor.

The listing also revealed that one of these models will support 210W fast charging, considering the charger information included a 20VDC/10.5A maximum charging speed. Most likely this will be the top model of the series, the Note 12 Pro+ 5G. Other models will have lower charging speeds- 120W for the Pro model and 67W for the vanilla model.

Redmi usually launches important series in China first and later in other markets, such as India and Europe. These 3 phones will just be the beginning of the series and more models might launch in the future.
