Redmi 10 Prime to hit the Indian market on September 3

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has announced the launch of a new entry-grade smartphone. This is going to be the Redmi 10 Prime and its promotional poster reveals the launch date to be September 3 at 12 p.m.

A Redmi 10 Prime with the model number 21061119AG appeared on Bluetooth SIG certification just days ago. According to a tipster, the Redmi 10 (globally) carries the same model number except for the last two letters, suggesting that the Redmi 10 may launch in India as the Redmi 10 Prime.

Redmi 10 launched in Malaysia

Teasers show a large camera sensor, hole-punch display, and MediaTek chipset under the hood. At least a blue color finish is teased for the phone. According to the rumors, the Redmi 10 Prime and Redmi 10 will have the same specifications.

The Redmi 10 for the global market features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ AdaptiveSync display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G88 SoC with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. With a quad-rear camera setup, the smartphone has a 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and two 2-megapixel sensors for macro photography and depth sensing.

There is an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front of the smartphone. The Redmi 10 has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W charging. The smartphone is available in three colors: Pebble White, Carbon Grey, and Sea Blue. The Indian variant of Redmi 10 Prime may also have the same color options as the Redmi 10.

The Redmi 10’s global price starts at $179 (approx Rs 13,300) for the base 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant, the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant costs $199 (approx Rs 14,800), and its 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant carries a price tag of $219 (approx Rs 16,283).
