Realme has sent out press invites for its May 31 virtual event wherein it would launch the Realme X7 Max powered by Dimensity 1200 SoC. The company is also bringing the Realme Smart TV 4K to the event. The TV will be out in two sizes – 50-inch & 43-inch. Now, as you may know already, these products would’ve seen the daylight earlier this month. However, due to the sudden resurgence of Covid cases in India, the brand had to postpone the event. Anyway, now that’s it’s here, let’s take a look at what we could expect to see.

Realme X7 Max 5G

Both the official Realme Twitter handle as well as its CEO Mr. Madhav Sheth’s account has announced the launch of the upcoming Realme Flagship — the Realme X7 Max 5G to be on the last day of this month.

As the poster reveals, the phone is shipping with a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. Realme will become the first brand to bring this chipset to India. Well, the brand had originally launched a phone named Realme GT Neo with this chip in its home market and it is believed that Realme X7 Max is none other than a revamped GT Neo.

So, if this is indeed GT Neo, then these are the rest of the expected specs:

Besides the chip, the internals may consist of up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, and a 4500mAh battery with 50W fast charge support. And needless to say, Realme X7 Max will be running on Android 11 with Realme UI skin on top.

The frontier may house a 6.43-inch sAMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 360hz touch sampling rate. The front camera is likely to be a 16MP snapper sitting within a punch hole aligned to the top left corner. The back cameras could comprise a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide shooter, and a 2MP macro module.

Overall the phone weighs only 179 grams and is 8.4mm slim. Last but not least, for connectivity, you’d be getting dual 5G SIM support.

That’s plenty to give you an idea about the Realme X7 Max. Realme also teased some of these specs at the dedicated microsite along with the phone’s Antutu benchmark score, and Realme’s partnership with Gameloft for Asphalt 9 Legends. Now, on May 31st, it’s not just the phone, but the company has also teased the unveiling of a TV.

Realme Smart TV 4K

The details on the Smart TV 4K are scanty save for that it supports 2160p resolution, comes in in two sizes – 50″ & 43″, rocks Dolby Vision HDR visuals and Dolby Atmos audio quality.

We look forward to more details emerging in the days leading to the launch event. So stay tuned for updates.
