realme is gearing up to launch its 300W fast charging technology, which is supposed to charge a device from 0% to 100% in just 5 minutes. This will be revealed at realme’s annual 828 Fan Festival, held at the company’s headquarters in Shenzhen, China, from August 13 to 15. The charging technology is to be unveiled on August 14.
The 300W fast charging, touted as the world’s fastest, is expected to debut on the upcoming realme GT 7 Pro. Rumoured specs for the GT 7 Pro—Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, a 6,000 mAh battery, and an IP69 rating.

realme claims this rapid charging technology is achieved through four proprietary innovations: advancements in charging power, battery technology, converter size, and power reduction design.
Further, the 828 Fan Festival will not only showcase this charging technology but will also give attendees a sneak peek into realme’s latest “cutting-edge technologies.” These include enhancements in smartphone experiences powered by AI, raw performance, and imaging.
In addition to product showcases, realme is opening its Intelligent Factory for tours during the festival. Attendees will get the opportunity to see the manufacturing process, durability testing, and imaging lab evaluations.

For those unable to attend the festival in person, realme will be providing live updates and coverage through its social media channels, including realme.com, Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook.
So far, we have seen brands offer up to 240W fast charging. realme’s GT 3 is currently the fastest charging phone at 240W. This is followed by the Redmi Note 12 Explorer Edition at 210W and then the iQOO 10 Pro at 200W. Notably, Redmi had showcased 300W fast charging earlier.
realme’s 300W fast charging charging will dethrone the company’s own 240W fast charging, and probably by a bigger margin that you’d expect. How realme has achieved this insane speed and what tech they are using remains to be seen. Stay tuned for August 14.
