Realme Narzo 10, 10A launch in India Postponed Again

Realme India has been pushed to defer its Narzo series launch once again. The Ministery of Home affair on April 19 issued revised guidelines pointing that deliveries of non-essential items including mobile phones won’t be part of relaxation announced earlier.

Previously, Realme scheduled Narzo Series launch for 26 march but unfortunate coronavirus pandemic caused a countrywide lockdown forcing Realme to postpone the Narzo series launch indefinitely. The guidelines issued by the government authorities on April 16 allowed e-trailers and electronic manufacturers to resume normal activities from April 20. Following these relaxations, Realme scheduled Narzo series online launch for April 21.

The company’s CEO Madhav Sheth previously posted on Twitter the Narzo series new launch date. The tweet reads, “Guys, here comes the news that you all have been waiting for! #realmeNarzo is back, so get ready to #FeelThePower! Watch the online video streaming live on 21st April at 12:30 PM.”

Realme been teasing the Narzo series for more than a month now. The upcoming series will feature at least two phones, Narzo 10 and Narzo 10A. The new Narzo phones are aimed to attract millennial or gen Z.

The company through its teaser posts have already confirmed some key features of the new series. The Narzo 10 is teased to feature a 48-megapixel sensor placed in a quad-camera setup. The Narzo 10A will feature a triple camera setup.

Another feature that is confirmed prior to the launch is 5,000mAh battery with fast charging support. Both these Realme phones are expected to feature Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NAVIC, Dual SIM 4G VoLTE, USB Type-C, 3.5mm headphone jack, and FM radio for connectivity.

With Narzo, Realme making a fresh attempt to attract buyers in the budget segment. These phones are likely to be priced under Rs 10,000 in India. Realme is also expected to conclude the Narzo launch with its upcoming SmartTVs.
