The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Realme has launched its new Android flagship, the Realme GT 8 Pro, as a rival to the Oppo Find X9 (review), the OnePlus 15 (review), and the upcoming iQOO 15. It features a powerful Qualcomm chip, a 200MP telephoto camera, and a massive battery. Here’s everything you need to know about the smartphone, including its introductory price, availability, key specifications, and features.

Realme GT 8 Pro: Price & Availability

While this is the maximum selling price of the phone, buyers can get a Rs. 5,000 bank offer on the handsets and a six-month NCEMI. Given that the phone has a detachable camera module, the company is also offering a decorative cover set for the camera module with the handset.

While there is no bank discount for this particular variant, buyers can get a 12-month NCEMI.

Both the Realme GT 8 Pro and the Realme GT 8 Pro Dream Edition are currently available to pre-order on the company’s website till November 24, 11:59 PM IST.

As mentioned on the official website, the phone will start shipping on November 24, 2025. General sales should commence on the same day via Flipkart and the company’s official website.

Realme GT 8 Pro: Specifications & Key Features

Realme’s latest flagship features a 6.79-inch BOE Q10 AMOLED screen with a QHD+ (3136 x 1440 pixels, 508 ppi) resolution, a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz (touch sampling rate of 360Hz), and a local peak brightness of 7,000 nits (limited to 2,000 nits in the high-brightness mode). The screen also covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color space and has a color depth of 1.07 billion colors (10-bit).

Under the hood, the flagship runs on Qualcomm’s most powerful mobile platform — the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (3nm) — which features an eight-core CPU with two 4.6 GHz prime cores, the Adreno 840 GPU (with hardware-accelerated ray tracing), and the Hexagon NPU. While the phone features up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, it gets up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. Other Android flagships, like the OnePlus 15, feature UFS 4.1 storage.

Out of the box, the phone runs Realme UI 7.0, based on Android 16. The user interface draws heavily from Apple’s Liquid Glass design language. Among its key features are the Misty Glass Control Center, Breathing Dock, Flux Engine for handling animations, AI Notify Brief, AI Framing Master, AI Smart Reply, AI Glare Removal, and AI Perfect Shot. Like the other Android phones, the phone should also feature Google’s Gemini AI assistant and Circle to Search features.

The Realme GT 8 Pro is headlined by a 200MP (f/2.6) Samsung ISOCELL 3K1 telephoto camera that offers 3x optical zoom, 6x optical-quality zoom, and 120x hybrid zoom. Then there’s the 50MP (f/1.8, OIS) Samsung ISOCELL GN3 primary camera, the 50MP (f/2.0) ultrawide camera, and a 32MP (f/2.4) selfie camera. Altogether, this is a pretty capable camera setup that can shoot 8K30 videos, 4K120 videos with Dolby Vision, and 4K60 videos from the front camera.

Powering the Realme GT 8 Pro is a 7,000 mAh battery that supports 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The smartphone supports SuperVOOC 2.0, SuperVOOC, QC, UFCS, PD, and PPS charging. Connectivity options on the smartphone include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth v6.0, NFC, dual-band GPS, and USB 3.0 Type-C port.
