The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Realme is gearing up to unveil its next flagship lineup — the Realme GT 8 Series — powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chipsets. The company has officially confirmed the series, which includes two handsets: the GT 8 Pro and the GT 8. Realme GT 8 Chinese Launch Date (Confirmed)

The company has confirmed the launch of the Realme GT 8 series via a post on the Chinese microblogging platform, Weibo.

  • The series, comprising the Realme GT 8 Pro and the Realme GT 8, will go official on October 21, 2025, in China.
  • Following its launch in its native market, the Realme GT 8 Pro is expected to arrive in India in November 2025.

The Realme GT 8 Pro is expected to feature a 6.78-inch flat 2K LTPO AMOLED screen that supports a 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, making it the company’s most powerful offering on the market.

Regarding optics, the handset could feature a 50MP primary camera and a 200MP telephoto sensor. Most recently, the company has officially confirmed a collaboration with Ricoh Imaging for fine-tuning the cameras on Realme’s flagship devices. Powering the handset could be a 7,000 mAh Si/C battery that supports 120W wired charging.

Realme GT 8 Pro Price In India

The Realme GT 8 Pro could command a more premium price tag in India, owing to the use of the cutting-edge Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, a 200MP periscope zoom camera, and the massive battery. While its predecessor launched at Rs. 59,999 for the baseline variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, the GT 8 Pro could debut at around Rs. 65,000 in India.

While the Realme GT 7 debuted in India at Rs. 39,999 for the baseline variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, the Realme GT 8 could arrive at around Rs. 45,000. However, don’t expect the handset to foray into the Indian market for another couple of months. The company launched the Realme GT 7 in India in May 2025, and it is expected that the GT 8 will break cover around the same time.
