Realme C3 powered by MediaTek Helio G70 SoC launched at a starting price of Rs. 6,999

Its been not even a year since the Realme C2 launched and here we have its sequel – the Realme C3. It comes with a modest price tag and a decent set of hardware specs.

Compared to the predecessor(review), this one packs a bigger battery, larger display, better memory options, and Android 10 out of the box. Yes, this is the first Realme phone to come with Realme UI. O..yeah, it holds the title of being the first phone to ship with MediaTek’s Helio G70 chipset. This vaunts a surge in performance too. So, there’s that too.

Realme C3 Features

Now that the phone’s unveiled, let’s strip down its spec sheet and features.

The Realme C3 comes with a 6.52-inch HD+ LCD minidrop display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. This is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. You get facial recognition to unlock the device. Within the notch lies a 5MP selfie snapper. There is no capacitive fingerprint reader solution on the phone.

As for the back, a 12MP+2MP sensor duo is used. The camera app sports features such as portrait mode and macro close-up shots. Both front and back cameras are backed by AI enhancement. The phone sports a Sunrise Design which is splash-resistant. It will be available in 2 colors – Frozen Blue,Blazing Red.

To the bottom, you have a micro-USB socket. You get to plug in a 10W charger to replenish the humongous 5000mAh battery. The USB port is flanked by a 3.5mm audio jack and a single speaker grille.

Realme C3 is running on the all-new MediaTek G70 chipset. This is bolstered by up to 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and MediaTek’s Hyperengine Gaming technology. The spec combination does reflect an impressive score in the benchmark standards. Take the Antutu yardstick, wherein, the Realme C3 manages to get over 193000 points. If you’re wondering, yes there is an option to top up the storage up to 256GB via a micro-SD card.

Interestingly, Realme C3 gets the real fresh Realme UI software, which is based on Android 10.

Realme C3 with 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant starts at Rs 6,999, while the bigger 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model is priced at Rs 7,999. It will be out on the sale from 14th February via realme.com and Flipkart. It will be soon available via offline outlets too.
