Where’s the Poco F2? This is one question that continues to be a part of almost all Poco related threads online and a question that tech-media keeps revisiting every other week. Well, a new leak suggests that it could be officially announced soon – at least for the global markets. The Poco F2 will be offered in two versions.

This bit of Poco F2 related information came from Xioamiska, a well-known name in the leaks circles. Russia based tipster claims that the Poco F2 global version will basically be a Redmi K30 Pro without 5G. There will be another unique version of the phone which will be labeled with model number M2003J6CI.

Xiaomishka leak seems to be inline with what Poco India general manager Chandolu Manmohan’s statement in zoom call with Poco fans where he explicitly mentioned that Poco F2 won’t be a rebranded version of the Redmi K30 Pro in India.

At times, it seems that the Poco F2 India edition will be different from what Poco is planning to offer to its global audience. If you recall, Poco’s last announcement – Poco X2 – is in fact a rebranded version for Redmi K30 4G. While Poco has become an independent brand, it very much depends on Xiaomi for backend processes.

The leak claims that the Poco F2 global variant won’t include 5G support. As we already know that the Redmi K30 Pro is driven by Snapdragon 865 chipset mandatory X55 5G modem. It is quite possible that Poco F2 Global version takes a leaf out of iQOO 3 (review) book and doesn’t include required 5G antenna components in the phone to save cost.

Will there be two versions of Poco F2? Well, as of now we can’t confirm anything but it is certain that Poco F2 is under works. What’s do you think about the much-awaited Poco F2? Share your thoughts with us in the comments below.
