Panasonic India unveiled the Lumix G95 Micro 4/3-inch 20/3MP Digital Live MOS mirrorless camera in India. It’s a compact and rugged gear targeted at Vloggers, YouTubers, and amateur photographers. It boasts features like 4K video, 9 fps burst shots, and 5-Axis Stabilisation under the hood.

Lumix G95 sports a 20.3MP MOS sensor, combined with the proprietary Venus Engine which would help in better focus without the low-pass filter. Its a 4k capable camera upto 30 fps with live-cropping and sequence composition support. In the live-capture feature, you could capture 8MP images from a 30fps burst shot. Sequence composition, on the other hand, is principally a cool stromotion post-processing feature.
It brags a total of 49 focus detection areas which is aided by DFD (Depth From Defocus. 240 fps) technology that further facilitates high-speed auto-focus and speed burst shooting at 9 fps (AFS) or 6 fps (AFC).
The camera is equipped with 5-axis Dual OIS that stabilizes shots during handheld photography sessions upto 5 stops. It also employs face and eye detection to track the subjects precisely.
Other features include an ISO range of 200-25,600, 49 autofocus points, a maximum shutter speed of 1/4000, slow motion video at 120fps, 4:2:0 8-bit recording with built-in V-Log L shooting option. You also get nice-haves like built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 for auto-sync with Panasonic Image App, 3.5mm headphone jack, 3.5mm MIC socket, and USB power charging and power supply.

All of these features are packed within a rugged body made of magnesium alloy front frame with dust and splash resistance. Its compact form factor makes it suitable for one-handed operation as frequently used options like white balance, ISO, and exposure compensation are placed within reach. It flaunts a 3-inch free-angle LCD touchscreen with 1.240K-dot resolution.
