Panasonic today introduced its range of Air Purifiers equipped with Nanoe technology in India. The extensive portfolio constitutes of 7 Air Purifiers with prices ranging between 11,995 INR and 34,995 INR.
For these purifiers, Panasonic has used two types of filters – HEPA Composite and Composite Air Filters – with life span varying between 2 and 10 years.
The HEPA Composite filters are present in high end models only. The Composite Air Filter consists of three kinds of technology—Super alleru-buster, Green Tea Catechin and Anti-bacteria Enzyme and can inhibit 17 kinds of virus, bacteria and allergens up to 99%. The new range can cater to room sizes from 283 sq. ft. to 452 sq. ft. Other highlighted features include house-dust catcher and 3D circulation air flow system. While the house-dust catcher helps in eliminating big particles such as hair, fine dust particles, germs and mould, the 3D circulation airflow enables suction of the particles from the front panel of the air purifier, increasing the efficiency of the air-purifier.
Last year, the company tested waters with a smaller range of products and sold about 5000 units. This year, as the demand for Air purifiers surges through the roof, Panasonic is expanding its operations and expects to sell around 20,000 units.
