Panasonic today presented a relatively compact smartphone, the Panasonic Eluga Prim, that comes with a 5-inch display and is powered by a quad-core processor.
The HD resolution display is layered by 2.5D curved Asahi glass and has a circular fingerprint sensor cum home button mounted below it. The 1.2GHz quad-core chipset firing Android Marshmallow based software on the display is assisted by 3GB RAM and 16GB of expandable storage.
The dual SIM phone has a 13MP rear camera with dual LED flash and a 5MP front-facing shooter for selfies. The Panasonic Eluga Prim is 7.88mm slim and is reasonably light at 145 grams. Other notable highlights include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and a 2800 mAh battery.

So, basically, the specs are pretty generic, but the slick design and the fact that it feels reasonably compact in a sea of 5.5-inch phones could help it sail through. The Panasonic Eluga Trim will be available at offline and online stores in Gold and Gun Metal Silver colors for 10,990 INR, which sounds about reasonable considering offline availability.
