As teased, Oppo has launched the Reno 5 Pro+. Earlier this month, we had seen the debut of the lower two variants of the Reno 5 family. The highlight upgrades over the other two include a Snapdragon 865 chipset, a slightly bigger battery, and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor in the rear camera setup.
Here’s a quick lowdown of the new Oppo flagship.
Oppo Reno 5 Pro+ Specs
Upfront, the phone is sporting a 6.55-inch sAMOLED 90Hz pane with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 402ppi pixel density, and 180Hz touch sampling rate. There is a left-aligned punch-hole cutout which is home to a 32MP selfie snapper.

Rotate to the rear and there you’ll find a 50MP Sony IMX766 leading the quartet. The followers are a 16MP 119° ultrawide, a 13MP telephoto sensor with up to 5x hybrid zoom, and a 2MP macro lens.
Inside, the phone is steered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, that’s backed by up to 12GB LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The software skin on top is Color OS 11.1 based on Android 11.

Other things in the mix are an in-display fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C port, dual-mode 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and a 4500mAh battery with 65W Super Flash Charge.

Oppo Reno 5 Pro+ Price and Availability
Oppo Reno 5 Pro+ carries a price tag of 3999 yuan (~₹45,025) for the base 8+128GB model, while the bigger 12+256GB unit is priced at 4499 yuan (~₹50,655). The phone’s Indian availability details are yet to be revealed.
