Oppo has finally launched the Pro variant of its R17, Oppo R17 Pro, in China. The handset includes several high-end innovations and has an impressive screen to body ratio of 91.5% (according to Oppo).
Key specifications of this new phone include a triple rear camera setup, double battery combo, Super VOOC Flash charge that guarantees 40 percent charging under 10 minutes, 8GB RAM, Snapdragon 710 SoC, and a trending ‘waterdrop’ notched display.

Oppo R17 Pro Features
The OPPO R17 Pro features a 6.4-inch (1080×2340 pixels) full-HD+ ‘waterdrop’ notch display, resulting in 91.5 percent screen-to-body. The phone has a unique gradient colored glass back. In terms of hardware, the handset has octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset with 8GB of RAM.
This dual-SIM (Nano) phone runs Android 8.1 Oreo, with ColorOS 5.2 laid over. It follows Huawei P20 Pro’s suite of triple camera concept on back panel, which comprises of 12MP sensor having f/1.5-2.4 aperture, 20MP sensor having f/2.6 aperture, and lastly, a TOF 3D stereo camera, whose functionality is not specified for now.
OPPO latest phone bears 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and NFC support as its connectivity features and an accelerometer, ambient light, and a proximity sensor, and notably an in-display fingerprint scanner as its sensors.
The phone will carry an effective battery capacity of 3,700mAh, resulting from combining two 1850mAh batteries inside. The battery, here, is aided by the company’s in-house Super VOOC charging.

Oppo R17 Pro Price
The phone has gone official in China, priced at CNY 4,299 (roughly Rs. 43,800). Its sale will go live around mid-October in the country. A single colour option is available which can be worded as ‘Fog gradient’. However, there is no official confirmation on OPPO R17 Pro’s launch in India.
