While Oppo prepares for the Oppo F7 launch in India, the firm announced a couple of high-end phones, dubbed as R15 and R15 Dream Mirror Edition in China. The major difference between the two devices is their chipset. The former is powered by MediaTek Helio P60 12nm SoC, whereas the Dream Mirror Edition rocks Snapdragon 660 processor.

Other key highlights of the phones include an all-display fascia, dual-rear camera setup, and fast charging support.

Oppo R15 and R15 Dream Mirror Edition Features

As you can see, most of the fascia is display. This is the raging design that everyone seems to have taken to. Since OnePlus designs have been inspired by Oppo R-series in the past, we could see a similar design on OnePlus 6 this year (However, we are guessing OP is going to do things a bit differently this year).

As for the specifications, Oppo R15 and R15 Dream Mirror both sport a 6.28-inch Full HD+ OLED display with 19:9 screen aspect ratio, a notch on top, and visibly thin bezel at the bottom. Both the phones have 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage that is expandable up to 256GB with a microSD card.

For shutterbugs, the R15 phones rear-camera boast a combination of 16-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensor. The sensors have f/1.7 and f/2.2 aperture lens, respectively, and come with an AI Intelligent Scene Recognition that can recognize 16 different kinds of scenes and 120 kinds of multi-scene combinations and also an AI portraits with built-in AI chip. The selfie camera of both phones features a 20MP sensor with f/1.0 aperture lens.

The phones have a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and come running on Android Oreo-based Color OS 5.0 UI out of the box. The battery on R15 and R15 Dream Mirror Edition is aided by 3,450mAh and 3,400mAh battery with VOOC Flash Charging, which Oppo claims can offer 2 hours of talk time with 5 minutes of charge.

Oppo R15 Price and Availability

The OPPO R15 has been priced in China at 2999 Yuan (roughly translate to Rs. 30,800) and comes in Snow White, Hot Red, and Star Purple colors option. Whereas the Dream Mirror Edition in Dream Red costs you 3299 Yuan (roughly Rs. 33,800) and the Ceramic Edition costs 3299 Yuan (roughly Rs. 33,880). Both phones are now available for order and will go on sale in China from April 1, 2018.
