Oppo has quietly listed another R-series phone, the R15 Pro, on Amazon India. The Oppo R15 Pro was initially regarded as the foundation of OnePlus 6 and was first launched in China in April 2018. Back then, it was among the first few Android phones with a notch cut out.
As of today, this Snapdragon 660 powered handset will play the second fiddle to the R17-series phones but covers the important lower mid-range market segment.
Oppo R15 Pro: Features
The major highlight of this phone, on paper, is its camera setup. It sports 20MP+16MP dual rear camera with f/2.0 aperture coupled with features like expert, time-lapse, panorama, portrait, and slow-motion. To quench your selfie thirst, the device has a 20MP front camera with f/1.75 aperture.
The front geography has a small notch island and an even thinner chin bezel. The 6.28-inch OLED display gives a good real estate for touchscreen interaction. The dual SIM device supports up to 256GB microSD cards. It comes with an onboard storage capacity of 128GB coupled with 6GB of RAM.
The phone runs Android v8.0 ColorOS 5.0 powered by 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor and Adreno 512 GPU graphics. As for the fuel, the device has a 3430mAh battery and VOOC fast charging.
