Previously there have been rumors about iPhone X inspired Oppo R13 and R13 Plus which will be powered by Snapdragon 670 SoC. But if latest information is to be believed, the upcoming phone will be named Oppo R15 and R15 Plus.

An alleged image of the Oppo’s upcoming phone surfaced online which apparently has iPhone X like notch and edge-to-edge display. The notch seems to pack a light sensor, earpiece and selfie camera.

Reportedly, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer had filed a phone design patent some time back which featured a full screen with a notch. If leaks are anything to go by, the Oppo R15 will have a metal chassis and rounded edges.

The phone is expected to flaunt a dual rear camera module which is stacked horizontally. The rear panel also seems to feature a fingerprint sensor and Oppo branding. The phone will come in Black, Pink, and Purple color options.

If earlier leaks are to be believed the phone will be running on Android 8.1 Oreo-based on ColourOS 4.0 out of the box. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 670 mobile processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB onboard storage. Rest of the details unknown as of now.

Both the R15 and R15 Plus have reportedly passed through 3C authorities in China. Oppo is expected to announce both these phones sometime in June 2018. And going by the design semblance Oppo R11 shared with OnePlus 5, it won’t be far-fetched to assume that the Notch would be passed on to the OnePlus 6!
