However, a recent survey also suggests that the company is giving after-sales service the utmost importance.

What The Counterpoint Survey Was All About?

A new Counterpoint survey reveals that Oppo India has secured the top space in customer satisfaction for after-sales service. The research and data-driven firm surveyed the customers of several brands, including Realme, Samsung, Oppo, Vivo, and Xiaomi, across 13 Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities. The survey aimed to determine the level of after-sale experiences among customers.

As highlighted in the official press release, the Counterpoint survey on after-sales experience among smartphone customers included over 2000 customers. In the survey, the firm found out that nine out of 10 respondents consider face-to-face phone repairs as an important parameter.

Oppo India’s 62% Customers Are “Highly Satisfied” With The After-Sales Service

Among all the brands, Oppo India emerged as the front-runner, as 78% of its customers said that repairs were conducted in front of them. Although the report doesn’t mention how many of the participants were using Oppo’s smartphone, it highlights that 62% of the users are “very satisfied” with the after-sales service.  

  • Counterpoint suggests that Oppo India leads in resolving issues for 35% of its customers within an hour, while Samsung follows closely at 34%.
  • Further, 57% of Oppo India customers reported high satisfaction with quality of repair, followed by Vivo at 52%.
  • A total of 51% of Oppo India customers were very satisfied with the cost of fixing the issue with their smartphones, closely followed by Vivo and Xiaomi at 45% each.
  • Respondents were also satisfied with the service center location.

The brand has secured the first position in several aspects, including the quality of repair, knowledge of staff, cost of repair, and service center location.
