Oppo Find X6 Series & Enco Buds Free3 launched in China: India launch unclear as of now

Oppo has launched the next Find X Series in China today. The brand has announced Oppo Find X6 Series including Oppo Find X6 and Oppo Find X6 Pro in the home country. Alongside, the Find X6 Series, Oppo has also launched Oppo Pad 2 and Oppo Enco Buds Free3. Since we have already talked about the Oppo Pad 2, let us talk about the Find X6 Series and Enco Buds Free3 now.

Oppo Find X6 Series: Specs & features

The Oppo Find X6 Series comes with a new design that makes it different from its predecessors. The camera module is now placed in the center and looks like an Oreo cookie. The phones still have curved displays with the vanilla model having a 6.74-inch panel while the Pro model sports a 6.82-inch panel. Both are 10-bit OLED panels with slightly different specs.

The Find X6 has a resolution of 2772×1240 pixels, a 40-120Hz refresh rate, and 1400 nits brightness while the Find X6 Pro has a resolution of 3168×1440 pixels, a 1Hz to 120Hz refresh rate, and 2500 nits brightness.

The Pro model is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset while the non-pro model is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset. Both have LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage and boot ColorOS 13.1 based on Android 13. The smartphones have been promised 4 generations of Android updates and 5 years of security updates.

In terms of camera optics, the Find X6 Pro has a 50MP Sony IMX988 1-inch primary sensor, and two 50MP Sony IMX890 ultrawide and periscope lenses. The Find X6 features a 50MP primary, Sony IMX890 ultrawide, and Samsung JN1 additional sensors.  The devices come with an in-screen fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers, an infrared sensor, and an IP68 rating for pro and an IP54 rating for non-pro Find X6.

While the Oppo Find X6 Pro packs a 5000mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging, the Find X6 draws power from a 4800mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging.

Oppo Find X6 Series: Price & Availability

The Oppo Find X6 will retail at the following prices in China-

  • 12GB RAM+256GB- 4499 yuan
  • 16GB RAM+512GB storage- 4999 yuan

It comes in black, green, and gold color options.

The Oppo Find X6 Pro comes in the following storage models-

  • 12GB RAM+256GB storage- 5999 yuan
  • 16GB RAM+256GB storage- 6499 yuan
  • 16GB RAM+512GB storage- 6999 yuan

The Find X6 Pro comes in black, green, and brown leather colorways.

Oppo Enco Free3 TWS Buds: Features

The latest TWS from Oppo looks like any other pair of earbuds but is actually unique due to some of its features. The drivers in Oppo Enco Free3 are made of bamboo fiber making it the world’s first TWS to use such a type of driver.

In terms of design, the buds are like Apple AirPods whereas the charging case is ovular. The earbuds connect using Bluetooth 5.3 and support multiple codecs like LDAC, LC3, AAC, and SBC. The Hi-Res audio wireless certified earbuds offer a spatial audio feature developed in-house by Oppo. The buds have ANC up to 49dB and 47ms low latency mode for gaming.

The Oppo Enco Free3 comes with touch gesture controls and has support for multi-device connection functionality. The IP55 earbuds can last up to 7 hours on a full charge and with the case, they can last up to 30 hours.

The buds are priced at 499 yuan in China but for now, they can be pre-ordered for 449 yuan and will start shipping on April 3. It is available in Bamboo Shadow Green and Blue Frost White color options.
