With the F9 Pro and F9 taking care of the flagship segment, Oppo has now launched A5 in India that will cater to offline buyers looking for a more affordable option. Oppo will allegedly launch a similar phone for online buyers under its Realme sub-brand, dubbed as the Realme 2, on August 28.
Oppo A5 India Price and Availability
The Oppo A5 will retail only at offline stores in India for a price of Rs. 14,990. The phone is currently available in two color options – Rose Gold and Blue. As mentioned above, online buyers can wait for Realme 2 which is expected to be a similar (if not same) phone with a more affordable price tag.

Oppo A5 Features
The Oppo A5 has a trendy 6.2-inch notch-screen display (19:9) with HD+ resolution and is powered by Snapdragon 450 octa-core chipset paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. There is an option to further add up to 256GB of microSD storage using the dedicated card slot.
The handset measures 156.2 x 75.6 x 8.2mm, has a glass-finish gradient back, and weighs a modest 147 Grams.
For photography, the Oppo A5 includes a 13MP + 2MP rear camera, paired with 8MP selfie camera. Other features include 4230mAh battery, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, AGPS, and 3.5 mm audio jack.
