It’s almost confirmed that the much-awaited OnePlus smartwatch will debut alongside the OnePlus 9 series on March 23. The company has tweeted a video post showing glimpses of a watch with the caption ‘You asked for it. You’re getting it.’ The teaser includes comments of OnePlus fans all over the world

For another hint, a post from OnePlus staff on its community forum says, “The clock is ticking down to the launch of our latest flagship, we’re excited to bring you an exclusive Community announcement… it’s time for something new. This fresh addition to the OnePlus family is healthy, punctual and even takes care of you while you sleep.”

Previously, Pete Lau himself has said that they are working with Google to boost the value of a smartwatch by improving the connectivity and features of WearOS. Lau has admitted the importance of a smartphone, TV, and smartwatch in creating an ecosystem of IoT devices; and still, we don’t have an OnePlus smartwatch.

Also, the OnePlus is said to be working on its smartwatch from back in 2015 but later delayed the project.

Going by the leaks, the said OnePlus Watch would debut with a circular dial design with features like heart rate monitoring, SpO2 tracking, sleep cycle monitoring, exercise modes, and a number of exciting watch faces. We have seen the OnePlus Band packed with useful features at a competitive price and so we expect the same for the OnePlus Watch as well.
