OnePlus Nord 2 CE codenamed Ivan specs surface online

OnePlus is working on a new pocket-friendly smartphone under the codename ‘Ivan’ at the moment. Reports state that Ivan could be the codename for OnePlus Nord 2 CE which is the toned-down variant of the OnePlus Nord 2, which launched this year. OnePlus Nord 2 CE is expected to come to India too, as OnePlus enjoys good popularity in the country.

Tipster Yogesh Brar has also shared expected specs and pricing details of the upcoming smartphone Ivan. Ivan will be called OnePlus Nord 2 CE and sport a 6.4-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It might be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset and pair up with 256GB storage and 12GB RAM. It is said to run Android 12-based OxygenOS 12.

In the camera department, Ivan will have a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro sensor. There will also be a 16MP selfie snapper. OnePlus Nord 2 CE will reportedly pack a 4500mAh battery under the hood with 65W fast charging support.

Since the smartphone targets the budget-oriented population, it may suffer some sacrifices in the design department. The phone might not have an IP rating and Alert Slider and the frame of the phone could be made of plastic.

OnePlus Nord 2 CE Expected price

The OnePlus Nord 2 CE is expected to be priced under Rs. 30,000 to attract a wider audience in India. Currently, the first-gen OnePlus Nord CE is priced at Rs. 22,999 and the OnePlus Nord 2 costs Rs. 27,999 in India.
