OnePlus has been in the news with its smart band and its much-awaited company’s (first) wearable device is here. The OnePlus Band comes loaded with 13 exercise modes including a few India specific modes like Yoga and Cricket.

OnePlus Band Features

The OnePlus Band flaunts a 1.1-inch dynamic AMOLED colour display with 126 X 294 pixels resolution. The band comes in a black strap out of the box but customers have the option to buy navy and tangerine gray straps separately.

OnePlus’ first-ever band comes loaded with a number of sensors including a blood oxygen sensor, an optical heart-rate sensor, a three-axis accelerometer, and a gyroscope.

Thanks to all these sensors, OnePlus Band is able to track your sleep patterns, monitor SpO2 level in blood, and measure your heart rate. Users will be required to have OnePlus Health app on their phones to be able to manage and comprehensively view their health data. However, it’s worth pointing out that readings provided by the OnePlus Band aren’t medically approved.

It comes preloaded with 13 exercise modes: Outdoor Run, Indoor Run, Fat Burn Run, Outdoor Walk, Outdoor Cycling, Indoor Cycling, Elliptical Trainer, Rowing Machine, Cricket, Badminton, Pool Swimming, Yoga, and Free Training.

Like most affordable fitness bands, the OnePlus band also carry an IP68 certification and 5ATM water-resistant which makes it swim-proof.

The OnePlus Band works with phones with Android 6.0+. Once connected with a smartphone, OnePlus Band can offer real-time message notifications, incoming call alerts, call rejection, music playback controls, and a remote camera shutter button. The company says it is working to bringing the OnePlus Health app and its band to iPhones as well.

The OnePlus Band comes with an inbuilt 100mAh battery which claims to offer up to 14 days battery life on a single charge.

OnePlus Band price in India

OnePlus Band price in India has been set at Rs. 2,499. The fitness band will retail at OnePlus.in, OnePlus Store app, Amazon, Flipkart, and OnePlus exclusive offline stores. The band will go on sale from January 13 onwards. If you wish to pick up OnePlus Band wrist straps in Navy and Tangerine Gray colours, they go at Rs. 399 each.
