Display

  • Out of the three, the Xiaomi phone is the only one with an LCD panel. Meanwhile, both 8T and S20 FE are using AMOLED.
  • But, where Mi 10T excels is its 144Hz refresh rate which outruns the smoothness of 120Hz, although the difference would be less apparent.
  • As for the protection on the screen, Gorilla Glass 5 on the OnePlus and Xiaomi phones should be more durable than the GG3 on the Mi10T. This is something to keep in mind if you have butterfingers.

Camera

  • Out of the four, an iPhone is expected to pack the best cameras — both for stills and videos.
  • The rest of the phones are relatively new and hence we reserve our judgments till we use them side by side.
  • Software tuning plays a key role in photo processing and output. Still, the versatility of the sensor setup would also matter. If that’s the case with you, do take a look at the specs table above.

Software and Performance

  • Right off the bat, the decision becomes easier, if you are inclined towards iOS for its privacy-centric and polished software.
  • Even in the real world performance, the iPhone 11 will beat the rest.
  • Android, on the other hand, has refined a lot over the years. Still, depending on the brand you choose, the respective skin will have the final effect on your experience. But, the general UI and UX can be customized better than what iOS allows.
  • OnePlus is offering Android 11 out of the box and has a decent record in the Android version and security update rollout. That said, Samsung and Xiaomi aren’t bad either in their software support. But, at the moment, they are on an older generation software.

Battery, Connectivity, and Misc. things

  • Albeit the 3110mAh battery is relatively small, the iPhone 11 can clock promising endurance. Android phones, meanwhile, with their larger mAh batteries should also easily get you till the end of the day, and maybe even more.
  • But the iPhone 11 will take like an eon to fill back the tank using the bundled 5W charger. In the meantime, the 65W charger of the OnePlus 8T will amaze you with its speed. And when it comes to that, even Mi 10T’s 33W and Samsung’s 20W can shift into high gear.
  • On the connectivity side, Mi 10T and OnePlus 8T are 5G-ready. But, do you need it…depends on how future-secured you want your phone to be.
  • Among the lot, only iPhone 11 is the one with a lightning port. Others sport USB Type-C.
  • All are WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5+ capable. There are sufficiently armed with all the necessary sensors too.
  • Samsung and Apple offer IP68 ingress protection. The other two have some sort of protection on them, but not officially certified.
  • There are some unique features on all these phones such as Face ID security on iPhone 11, an infrared sensor on Mi 10T, and micro-SD expansion on S20FE.
