OnePlus phones stand on a thin line between uber flagships and the mid-rangers and therefore nicknamed as Flagship Killers. Earlier this year, we witnessed two phones whilst the Pro variant stepped into a higher-price territory. And within a span of a few months, its already time for their T iterations. The OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro are rumored to surface on September 26. Moreover, we might also get the McLaren Edition phone, just like the previous year.

The OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro leaks, rumors and expected specs have started to rain down. Here’s everything you need to know to get on the same page.

OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro expected specs

The core upgrade will be the new Snapdragon 855 Plus, which adds a 15 percent boost in graphics performance and a 4 percent bump in CPU performance over the older SD 855 SoC. This is a fairly predictable move as many other brands have jumped the same bandwagon.

This time the base variants of both models could come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. There will be a higher 256GB storage option as well. Add McLaren edition to the mix, which would be the pronounced one of the lot with whopping 12GB of RAM.

The internals on the OnePlus 7T will include a bigger 3800mAh battery with 30T Warp Charge. Yes, the “non-pro” edition will also support the high-speed charging. The 7T Pro, on the other hand, is likely to pack a 4800mAh power source, backed by the same charging tech.

Coming to the cameras, the 7T is likely to share the triple camera setup of OnePlus 7 Pro. Thus, both phones might feature a 48MP primary camera followed by a 16MP ultra-wide and a final 12MP telephoto zoom module on 7T and 8MP on 7T Pro. The rumors hint at a new Macro mode, HEVC, and Hybrid Image Stabilization on the OnePlus 7T Pro. Additionally, the leaked images showcase a round camera island, which is an aesthetic refresh over the precursors.

Up front, the selfie snapper might stick to the same 16MP sensor, which will reside within a teardrop notch or motorized pop-up unit on the 7T and 7T pro respectively. The leaks suggest 90Hz display on both OnePlus phones. The difference might manifest in their other specifics. The 7T might ship with a Quad HD+ 6.55-inch Optic AMOLED screen whereas the Pro might flaunt a larger 6.67-inch 2K+ display.

Android 10-based Oxygen OS

Another big news is the arrival of Android 10 on the upcoming OnePlus phones. This is very well plausible as the update is expected to hit its predecessors starting September 3, along with the Google Pixel phones. Needless to say, Oxygen OS skin will be on top of the new software.

The OnePlus 7T is expected to start at Rs. 38000 and the 7T Pro might carry a similar price tag as the OnePlus 7 Pro.

OnePlus TV

Besides the phones, the long-anticipated OnePlus TV will also be launched. The brand is currently selling the OnePlus 7 (review) and OnePlus 7 Pro (review) via Amazon India, OnePlus.in and select retail outlets under a Flagship Phenomenon Sale. If you own an Axis bank debit and credit card, you can avail an instant discount of Rs. 1500 on the OnePlus 7 and Rs 2,000 on the Pro. The offer extends to both EMI and non-EMI buying options and goes till September 6.
