OnePlus is planning to launch a new smartphone named OnePlus 10R in India. It will be a successor to OnePlus 9R and is also expected to be a toned-down version of the recently launched flagship OnePlus 10 Series phones.

According to Android Central, the OnePlus 10R will be powered by MediaTek’s most advanced Dimensity 9000 SoC and go official in or before June 2022. Since the same portal had reported about OnePlus Nord 2 having a MediaTek chipset instead of a Qualcomm SoC, this news about the OnePlus 10R might be true too.

OnePlus 10R Expected Specs

The reports from various sources claim that the OnePlus 10R will have at least 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It will feature a 120Hz AMOLED display and be powered by MediaTek 9000 Chipset. The Dimensity 9000 supports Sub-6GHz 5G bands but lacks mmWave connectivity support, which is something that US telcos rely on. So this phone might stick to Asian markets.

No other specs have been revealed so far, but the smartphone is expected to get some upgrades over the OnePlus 9R smartphone. It might lack the Hassleband cameras but have a quad rear camera system. It is said to have 65W fast charging support, similar to other OnePlus phones.

OnePlus 10R Expected Price

OnePlus 10R will reportedly debut in India and China. It is expected to cost much less than the OnePlus 9 Pro which starts at Rs. 64,999 in India. Currently, the OnePlus 9R starts at Rs. 43,999 and goes up to Rs. 46,999 in India. OnePlus 10R might cost slightly higher or around the same as this range.
