The series started streaming in 1999 and will get new episodes in 2024 as well. It is one the highest-rated TV Show of 2024 and has over 1100 episodes to its credit. The series has a rating of 9 out of 10 on IMDb and has won awards like Best Continuing Series, Best Main Character, Best Music, and Best Notable Entry. One Piece Anime Series: Plotline

One Piece traces the life of Monkey D. Luffy who puts together a pirate crew to acquire the fabled One Piece treasure and become the next pirate king. The plot starts in a world populated by pirates and develops into something more exquisite and unpredictable. The tale is broken into various sagas each of which has its own sub-sagas. The sub-sagas further include various arcs which are based on the islands Luffy and his crew visits.

One Piece Series: Five Main Characters

1. Monkey D. Luffy

Portrayed by Inaki Godoy, this character debuted at the age of seven. This young boy acquired the properties of rubber after accidentally eating one of the Devil Fruits that belonged to Red Hair Shanks. His superpower is his ability to stretch his limbs

2. Nami

Played by Emily Rudci, this character is also known as Car Burglar. She is based on Ann and Silk, two characters from Oda’s previous manga Romance Dawn. She is a pickpocket who has meteorological, navigational, and cartographical skills. She is an intelligent girl who can use her three-sectioned staff and climate skills to create powerful attacks.

3. Roronoa Zoro

Also known as Pirate Hunter, is a fictional character who appears in a manga series. He first appeared in 3rd chapter of One Piece. Five different actors have played this character till now and its special powers include Armament and Observation Haki.

4. Shanks

Played by four different actors to date, Shanks is a powerful and legendary pirate in the Grand Line and the captain of the Red-Haired Pirate Crew. He is also one of the four emperors in the second half of the grand line. Special powers include six physical abilities, swordsmanship, future sight, and more.

5. Nico Robin

Four actresses have played Nico Robin till now and this character is also known as Devil Child. Powers include full control of her duplicated limbs and perceiving sights and sounds remotely through duplicate eyes and ears.
