Carl Pei’s Nothing launched its first smartphone, Nothing Phone 1 in 2022. The smartphone was well received due to its top-quality specs and unique design language. Now, it has been confirmed that Nothing will soon launch Nothing Phone (2) in the summer of 2023. Ahead of the launch, the details regarding the specs and design of Nothing Phone (2) have surfaced online. Read on to know these details.
Nothing Phone (2): Expected specs
The upcoming Nothing Phone (2) is expected to sport a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset making Nothing’s phone enter the premium league. The smartphone is said to have up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It might come in these 3 storage configurations-
- 8GB RAM+128GB storage
- 8GB RAM+256GB storage
- 12GB RAM+256GB storage
In terms of camera optics, the phone might house a 50MP main camera with OIS and two more sensors. There is reportedly a 5000mAh battery with fast as well as wireless fast charging. Nothing will run OS 1.5 based on Android 13 and have dual stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and more. Nothing Phone (2) is also expected to support satellite communications along with NFC, 5G, and more.

In terms of design, Nothing Phone (2) is expected to have the same transparent design with a glyph interface. There will be a prominent red LED which might have different functionalities. Some teasers have surfaced online which reveal this design language.
The price of Nothing Phone (2) is expected to be under Rs. 50,000.
