Nokia X71 with 48MP Camera and Punch Hole Display Launched: Price, Specs

HMD Global’s has launched the first Nokia phone with a punch hole display and a 48MP camera. Apart from an immersive 6.39-inch screen, the Nokia X71 offers mid-range hardware paired with the promise of light and simple Stock Android experience.

For now, the Nokia X71 has been officially introduced in Taiwan, but it’s rumored to be available globally as Nokia 8.1 Plus or Nokia 6.2 (2019).

Nokia X71 Features: Triple cameras, Punch Hole Screen

For starters, the Nokia X71 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660, which makes the Nokia 6 (2019) global branding more likely. In Taiwan, the X71 comes with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage (expandable by up to 256GB).

The front is mostly Display (LCD, Full HD+), with the 16MP selfie camera housed within a punch hole cut out. On the rear, there are triple cameras and the traditional capacitive fingerprint reader.

The primary 48MP camera has the Sony IMX576 sensor and Zeiss optics. The other two sensors include an 8MP wide-angle shooter and a 5MP depth sensor.

The Nokia X71 is around 8mm thick, retain the 3.5mm audio jack, and houses a 3500mAh battery. An 18W fast charger is bundled in the box.

Other worthy mentions include USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, and the pure Android 9.0 Pie software.

Nokia X71 Price and Availability

The Nokia X71 price in India hasn’t been announced yet. In Taiwan, it costs NT$ 11,990 that converts to roughly US$ 388  or Rs. 27,000. The phone will go on sale starting on April 10.
