Nokia 9 Specifications Leaked: 5.5-inch OLED Display and Android 8.0 Oreo

Nokia 9, the ‘upcoming’ flagship smartphone by HMD Global, is back in news again. This time for its specification, which got leaked on the US FCC (Federal Communications Commission) Site ahead of Nokia 9’s expected January launch.

According to the source, the Nokia 9, codenamed as Avatar, will be using LG manufactured 5.5-inch full vision OLED panels and comes running on latest Android 8.0 Oreo. It is going to be a compact phone, just like LG Q6, which has the similar 18:9 display.

Nokia 9 Specification (Expected)

HMD Global’s Nokia 9 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, under its hood, and sports a dual camera setup with 12-megapixel and 13-megapixel sensors. Up front, it will have a 5-megapixel sensor.

Furthermore, the Nokia 9 will house a 3250mAh battery with fast charging support and support all cellular frequency bands that will make it compatible with AT&T and T-Mobile. As of now, we are not aware of the RAM employed and connectivity options included on the Nokia 9, but we do now that it will have 128GB inbuilt storage.

Talking about the design, Nokia 9 is going to be first in its class to come with an edge-to-edge display. Various renders in the past have shown that the smartphone will have thin bezels, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and metal and glass unibody finish.

Beyond this, we don’t have much information on the Nokia 9’s availability and price. But, HMD Global is expected to host an event by early next year where they will introduce their flagship Nokia 9 and rumored next-second generation Nokia 8.
