Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 6 (2018) Now Receiving Dual SIM Dual VoLTE Feature Via OTA update

If you are a Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 6.1 or Nokia 6 (2018) user, you can now use 4G VoLTE on both the SIM slots. HMD Global is rolling out an OTA (V2.22A) update that will add the missing dual-SIM and dual-VoLTE feature on both the phones along with the May 2018 Android security patch.

With this update both the Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 6.1 now supports 4G sims in both slots which was missing so far. Moreover, with this V2.22A OTA update, the Nokia 7 and Nokia 6.1 gets support for Dual SIM Dual VoLTE which means better can quality on both networks. In India, after Jio other networks are catching up by rolling out their VoLTE services in a staged manner.

Nokia 7 Plus Price, Availability, Features

To recall, HMDGlobal launched the Nokia 7 Plus last month in India. It has been priced at Rs. 25,999 and is available on Black-copper and White-copper color options on Amazon.in and select retail outlets.

Talking about Nokia 7 Plus specifications, it sports a 6-inch full-HD+ IPS display with Gorilla Glass on top and 18:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 660 SoC, coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box and is part of the Android One program which means timely Android security updates for two years.

Nokia 6.1 or Nokia 6 (2018) Price, Availability, Features

  • Sports 16MP rear camera and 8MP front camera.
  • Available in two variants: 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB storage, respectively.
  • Also runs on Android Oreo out-of-the-box.

The Nokia 6.1, on the other hand, is an affordable mid-range phone of HMD Global. It retails in India at a starting price of Rs. 16,999 and is available in Balck and Black-copper color options.

As for its specifications, the Nokia 6.1 sports a 5.5-inch full-HD display with a traditional 16:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 630 chipset that is paired with 3GB or 4GB of RAM. It is offered with 32GB or 64GB of internal storage which is expandable via a microSD card up to 128GB.
