Ever since the news of a new variant of Nokia 6 broke, the rumor mill is buzzing with one or the other report of the device. The new leaks point out that there won’t be any end-to-end display or full-view screen on the Nokia 6 (2018) as reported earlier.

The report came from the same Chinese regulatory site, TENAA, whose listing earlier confirmed the 18:9 display. With this, there are now two models of the Nokia 6 (2018) that were certified by TENAA, but the latest certification of the TA-1054 model seems to be a legit one.

According to the listing, the Nokia 6 (2018) will flaunt a 5.5-inch full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display with conventional 16:9 screen aspect ratio. The second generation Nokia 6 is likely to rock Snapdragon 630 14nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 508 GPU clocked at 2.2Ghz.

On the connectivity front, it will support 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB Type-C and dual-SIM support.

Nokia 6 (2018) Availability Details

Meanwhile, there are reports that HMD Global may announce the new Nokia 6 earlier than expected. There are reports which say that the Nokia 6 (2018) could be launched in China on January 5. A retailer in China, named Suning, has leaked a teaser image of the Nokia 6 (2018) that shows the numerical ‘3’ designed with older Nokia phones and the text in the image says ‘New Nokia 6′.

The news should be taken with a pinch of salt as they are all based on rumors. We are yet to hear the same from HMD Global and are expecting an official announcement soon.
