Nokia 3310 with 4G Connectivity and Android OS Announced: Specification and Features

HMD Global, the parent company of Nokia, has launched an upgraded model of iconic Nokia 3310 phone in China. The feature phone has made a significant jump from 2G/3G network to 4G and it now runs on Android OS (forked). (Read in Hindi)

Nokia 3310 Features

HMD Global has packed the modernized avatar of Nokia 3310 with slightly better specs as compared to its predecessor. The handset flaunts a 2.4-inch QVGA color display on the front and employs 215MB RAM and 512MB internal storage under the hood. It has a dedicated microSD card slot to further expand storage up to 64GB.

At the software front, the 2018 Nokia 3310 comes running on the forked version of Android, Yun OS, for the Chinese market. Nokia has for the first time ditched its Nokia series 30+ OS in favour of Android for its feature phone.

Other features of the Nokia 3310 include 2MP rear camera sensor with an LED flash, 1200mAh battery, and connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v4.0, a standard headphone jack, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and a Micro-USB port.

Nokia 3310 Price and Availability

The Android-based feature phone, Nokia 3310 has been listed on the company’s official website in two-color options: Fresh Blue and Deep Black. It is expected that HMD Global will reveal the details about its global availability and pricing during the annual Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona next month.
