Nokia 3 Specifications Are Out, Includes Snapdragon 425 SoC, 5.2-inch Display

Just a day after we reported that the upcoming budget Nokia 3 smartphone would be showcased at the MWC, more about the new Nokia phone has been revealed.

This time, specifications pertaining to the phone have emerged, elucidating what all it has to offer to its users.

By the looks of it, the Nokia 3 is set to feature a 5.2 or 5.3-inch HD display and will be powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor supported by an Adreno 308 GPU and a 2GB LPDDR3 RAM.

Along with that, the phone is set to pack in the latest Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box and feature an in-built storage space of 16GB, subject to further extension through an external memory card.

The budget offering from Nokia would come with a 13MP camera with LED flash on the rear alongside a 5MP one on the front for selfies.

The phone is initially expected to carry a €149 ($157 / Rs. 10,550 approx.) price tag and is deemed to be unveiled on February 26th at the upcoming MWC that is to be held in Barcelona.

Alongside that, talks regarding the phone getting released globally, including in India, sometime around March and April are doing the rounds on the Internet. To get an official word on that, it appears, we’d have to wait a bit.

On the whole, it can be said that the whole ‘Nokia revamp’ is going good so far and with the MWC seeing as many as four new releases by the erstwhile smartphone giant, it is safe to say that Nokia is indeed back with a bang.
