Nokia seems to be pulling all stops in its bid to reclaim the fame in the smartphone market (that is, before its acrimonious fall from grace). Even though its already out quartet of smartphones has been generating enough buzz, the Finnish handset maker seems in a mood for some more.

Now, a sketch has emerged of yet another smartphone from the company and has been quickly lapped up by tech enthusiasts all over the world.

The device in question is being believed to be of the Nokia 2, and has been featured in the said sketch alongside the already out Nokia 3 handset.

Going by the sketch, that was leaked on China’s Baidu website, the Nokia 2 would be a bit smaller than the Nokia 3, and feature curved corners (the Nokia 3, on the other hand, had a more rectangular design). The device may very well turn out to be similar to the company’s previous Lumia 620 smartphone, but this appears to be a long shot.

As far as the rest of the details the sketch let out about the Nokia 2 are concerned, it may have a similar 5-inch display as the Nokia 3, and has on screen navigation buttons, which is something that the latter lacks.

Also, there’s no fingerprint sensor visible in the sketch, giving considerable weightage to the fact that it may very well be a really affordable device.

Other than that, the phone is being rumored to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 SoC and an Adreno 304 GPU.

Well, it appears we are better off playing the waiting game here, until we get hold of something concrete, or the company lets out an official word in this regard.
