Nexus 7 And Nexus 9 To Get Lollipop 5.1 Soon

Google’s android has powered up more than 80% of smartphones in the present day. Android had recently got an update to its latest version Lollipop. Initially introduced as Android Lollipop v5.0, the platform has now become Lollipop v5.1. Many smartphones have been receiving this update lately and speaking of Google’s own flagship smartphones, the Nexus family has also started getting this update. Lastly, we came to know about Nexus 4 and Nexus 6 receiving this update.

AS per the most recent news, Google is now about to start rolling out Android Lollipop v5.1 update for Nexus 7 and Nexus 9 as well. Currently, Nexus 9 runs on Android Lollipop 5.0. Instead of going through Lollipop 5.0.2, Nexus 9 will get a jump start to receive thee Lollipop 5.1 upgrade directly. In its Reddit post, Google has officially confirmed that this update will start rolling out very soon in the coming future.  The update build number for Nexus 7 (2013) is LMY47W and that for the Nexus 9 is LMY47S. The update is being expected very soon.

This new update is expected to come with the fixes related to Wi-Fi, cellular connectivity and Bluetooth improvements. New material design could also be an exciting feature that the new update build might carry along. Although there is no official world on the release already, yet the update is being presumed to start rolling out very soon.
