Speculations regarding the successor to Xiaomi’s hugely successful Mi 5 smartphone, the Mi 6, have been thronging the Internet ever since leaks and pictures of the same came to the fore months ago.

Now, a new Weibo post has surfaced that provides more insight to the much-awaited smartphone from the Chinese electronics company.

Apparently, the Mi 6 would come out in three variants, differing on the basis of the chipset used in them and all three would be priced accordingly.

The first and the cheapest variant of the Xiaomi flagship would be seemingly powered by Helio X30 processor and would be priced at $290 (approx. Rs. 19,700). The second variant on the list would be a tad expensive than the first one and would feature a Snapdragon 835 chipset and would cost about $360 (approx. Rs. 24,400).

The third and the most expensive variant of the Xiaomi Mi 6 would also be powered by a Snapdragon 835 chipset, similar to the second one. On top of that, it is most likely to feature a curved display, apparently along the lines of the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. This variant is expected to be available at a price of around $434 (approx. 29,500).

As you can see, the three variants have a minute difference and apart from that, will reportedly have the same features which have been featuring in the leaks and reports regarding the phone.

The Mi 6 is expected to be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress taking place in Barcelona next month and it would be interesting to see the buzz these three variants generate, once they are official.
