MSI Prestige, Creator, and Modern-Series Laptops Refreshed With 10th Gen Intel Processor, Nvidia GeForce RTX Graphics

MSI India has updated its laptop line up in the country with current-generation processors and more powerful graphics units. The upgrades are announced in productivity and creator-centric laptops. MSI’s new laptops in Creator, Modern, Prestige series are now offered with 10th Gen Intel Core series processors, up to the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q with 8GB of GDDR6 memory, 4K display with True Color technology and 144Hz refresh rate, Thunderbolt 3 support, Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, and more such marquee features.

The Taiwanese company has launched a total of eight laptops across the Prestige, Creator, and Modern series with 15 configurations up for grabs. The MSI Creator series laptops are currently available via Flipkart, while the rest of MSI’s new launches will hit the shelves soon. Pricing of the new MSI laptops launched in India starts at Rs. 59,990 and goes all the way up to Rs. 2,69,990 for the fully decked-out MSI P75 Creator 9SF model.

MSI Modern 14 and MSI Modern 15

The MSI Modern series is targeted at students and budding professionals who are looking for higher performance on a budget. The new Modern series includes five variants including Modern 14 and Modern 15. The Modern 14 and 15 laptops come with a 14-inch full-HD IPS screen (60Hz refresh rate) and 86 percent screen to body ratio. Consumers can get the new Modern series laptops with configuration up to 10th Gen Intel Core i7 Comet Lake processor coupled with Nvidia GeForce MX250 GPU, 8GB of DDR4 RAM and up to 512GB NVMe PCIe SSD storage.

The new Modern series laptops have a brushed aluminum finish and MIL-STD-810G certified build. MSI says it uses Cooler Boost 3 technology with triple heat pipes to keep system temperature in check. The MSI Modern 14 India price starts at Rs. 59,990, while the MSI Modern 15 prices commence from 79,990 onwards.

MSI Prestige 14 and Prestige 15

MSI Prestige series also has MIL-STD-810G certified build and brushed aluminum finish. The Prestige series laptops are offered in two screen sizes – 14-inch and 15-inch. MSI is offering a fingerprint sensor, up to 4K display resolution with Adobe RGB 100 percent colour gamut support, Delta E < 2 color accuracy, and faster Thunderbolt 3 ports for connectivity.

MSI offers top of the line Prestige laptops with 10th Gen Intel Core i7 Comet Lake processor, working in tandem with Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Max-Q graphics, 16GB of RAM, and 1TB of NVMe PCIe SSD storage. The MSI Prestige 14 and Prestige 15 base variants start from Rs. 99,990, and Rs. 1,19,990 respectively.

MSI Creator Series

As the name implies, it is targeted towards creators and heavy users. As compared to the Prestige series, the advantage Creator series offers is a screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, up to an Intel Core i7-9750H Coffee Lake processor (10th gen) coupled with Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 graphics, at least 16GB of RAM, and 1TB of NVMe PCIe Gen3x4 SSD storage.

The Creator apart from 15-inches size also gets a 17-inch version which packs a larger 17.3-inch full-HD IPS screen with 144Hz refresh rate. The MSI Creator 15M India price starts at Rs. 1,39,990, whereas the MSI Creator 17M retail price in India is Rs. 169,990.

MSI P65 and MSI P75

The MSI also launched the P65 and P75 laptops with Hexa-core 10th Gen Intel Coffee Lake processors for extreme power users. These laptops also include Cooler Boost Trinity cooling, Nvidia GeForce RTX graphics, Thunderbolt 3 support, and Calman certified True Color display technology.

The MSI P65 Creator is made available with up to a 15.6-inch UHD 4K display and Intel Core i7-9750H Coffee Lake processor. There’s a dedicated Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 graphics on-board along with 32GB of DDR4 RAM and 1TB of NVMe PCIe Gen3x4 SSD storage.

The MSI P75 Creator, on the other hand, includes a 17.3-inch UHD 4K display, Intel Core i9-9880H Coffee Lake processor, Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 graphics with Max-Q design, 32GB of DDR4 RAM, and 1TB of NVMe PCIe Gen3x4 SSD storage. Both these performance beasts are priced at Rs. 1,49,990, and Rs. 2,69,990 respectively.
