Motorola One Power to launch in India on September 24

Lenovo-owned Motorola has announced the launch of Motorola One Power on September 24. Lenovo has already rolled out media invites and has also announced the event on its social media handles.

The device was already unveiled at IFA 2018 in Berlin last month and will soon enter the Indian markets. Some of the key specifications of Motorola’s upcoming launch are Android One participation, Snapdragon 636 SoC, and Max Vision display. We can also expect the latest Android Pie update on the phone, later.

Lenovo is marketing One Power as a “co-creation of Motorola and Google,” which alludes to the phone being a part of Google’s Android One program.

Motorola One Power Features

According to the announcement made at IFA 2018, Motorola One Power will run Android One out of the box and wears a sleek design. The company has promised Android 9 Pie update on this phone. It sports a 6.2-inch Full-HD+ IPS LCD display, with 19:9 aspect ratio and a prominent notch.

The phone houses 1.8GHz Octa-core Snapdragon 636 SoC, coupled with two RAM variants of 3GB and 4GB and internal storage options of 32GB that will go with the lower RAM variant, and 64GB that will go with the higher RAM variant. The internal memory is expandable up to 256GB via microSD. It carries a dual rear camera set-up of 16MP primary sensor and 5MP secondary sensor. For the selfie camera, the phone houses an 8MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture.

The smartphone will be driven by a 5,000mAh battery with TurboPower charging and claims 6 hours battery backup on single charging cycle.

Motorola One Power (Expected) Price

The price for this phone is expected to be around 20k. While there has been no official announcement about its availability, Motorola formally announced during IFA 2018 that the handset will be available in India October 2018 onwards, and also said that the device will be an India exclusive phone.
