Motorola seems to be finally bouncing back with some hype-worthy titles. Today, the brand’s folding novelty launched in India and on a different stream, we have news on the Motorola Edge. You may already know about this series, thanks to its supposedly big brother Edge+ which has made rounds in the tech rumor mills for quite some time. It is Moto’s first flagship series in years and that adjective is enough to pique some curiosity.
So, cutting the clutter, let’s get down to what we know about the upcoming Motorola Edge lineup.
All we know so far about Motorola Edge:
It will apparently carry over the curved display fad, something like the recent Oppo Find X2. Trend-wise, this is said to accord the 60 to 90Hz refresh switching. A fresh new leak tells us the display settings will contain an option called “auto” mode which describes the use of “AI to always show the optimal refresh rate,” whatever that means.

To give it a fresh appeal, the facade has a punch hole cutout. Inside resides a 25MP camera. Moto has lately spawned some experimental camera phones such as the One Action (review), One Macro, One Zoom, and One Hyper. Whether any of those theatrics are present here is something to be seen. However, as for specs, the vertical stack is said to include a 64MP primary camera, a 16MP ultrawide snapper, and an 8MP telephoto zoomer.
The leaks and rumors suggest Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 chip, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of onboard storage, and a 4,500mAh battery inside.
The leaked photos show a dual front-firing speaker, a feature universally loved. Other miscellaneous things to note here are – a 2+1 SIM slot and an in-display fingerprint reader.
