Lenovo’s metal body mid-range smartphone, the Moto M, that recently went official in China was today unleashed in India, priced at 15,999 INR (for the 3GB RAM variant).
The new Moto M has a 5.5-inch Full HD display, is the first Moto phone with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and brandishes a metal body with dual nano-coating that makes it resistant to splashes.
The handset is powered by 2.2GHz octa-core Helio P15 chip that, according to MediaTek, will provide 10 percent performance boost over Helio P10. Since this is a 28nm process based true octa-core chip (rather than a big.LITTLE architecture chip as Helio P10) we will be watching out if power efficiency takes a hit at the expense of the performance boost.
