Moto G62 is arriving in India with Snapdragon 695 SoC; G32 tags along

Motorola India is gaining another smartphone in its cheaper 5G offerings. The phone is Motorola Moto G62 5G which made its global debut last month. It will be launched in India on August 11 as mentioned on its Flipkart landing page although it won’t be the same G62 5G as the global variant. Let’s see what all we can expect to change with the India Moto G62 5G and as it goes, Moto G32 will make its presence in India two days ahead on August 9th as well.

Motorola Moto G62 Launch in India

According to the sources, Motorola has already confirmed August 9th for its Moto G32. With that being said, Yogesh Brar added that the Moto G62 could be reserved for launch on August 11th and Flipkart’s tweet and the landing page have cleared the mist around the release date as well. Apart from that, we will likely have two storage variants at 6/8GB RAM and 128GB with the base pricing between INR 15,000/- and INR 17,000/-. Again, these are speculatory pricing and the actual pricing may differ. For context, the Moto G32 is expected to fetch pricing between INR 11,000/- and INR 13,000/-.

Motorola Moto G62 India Specifications

For starters, Flipkart has already confirmed a Snapdragon 695 SoC under the hood along with a 120Hz FHD+ panel and 12 5G Bands that will be made available on the Indian Moto G62. For context, the European Moto G62 has a Snapdragon 480+ SoC under the hood whereas the Indian counterpart is making the changes.

When it comes to the global variant, the Moto G62 brings onboard a 6.52” FHD+ 2400×1080 pixels resolution along with a 120Hz refresh rate. There’s a Snapdragon 480+ SoC along with 4GB RAM, 128GB of LPDDR4x RAM with a microSD card slot that helps you expand the storage to 1TB. The phone runs on Android 12 powered MyUX out-of-the-box.

There’s a 16MP cam at the front, 50MP+8MP UW + 2MP macro triple rear camera setup. The G62 Global draws its power from a 5,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging tech. Other specifications are almost the same across variants of the similar segment.

Motorola Moto G32 India Specifications

Motorola Moto G32 is expected to get a 6.5″ FHD+ LCD panel with 90Hz refresh rate. There’s Snapdragon 680 SoC, Adreno 610 GPU, 128GB of storage and 4GB LPDDR4x RAM. You can expand it to its max 1TB of storage using microSD. There’s Android 12 pre-loaded with the Moto G32 as well.

About the optics, Moto G32 is likely to give you a triple rear camera setup comprising of 50MP primary plus 8MP ultrawide and a 2MO macro snapper. There’s the same 5,000mAh battery with 30W charging tech as mentioned on the Moto G62 5G specs sheet.
