Moto G6 Plus with 5.9-inch full HD+ ‘Max Vision’ display launched in India: Price, Specifications, and Features

Lenovo owned Motorola has finally launched its mid-range smartphone, Moto G6 Plus, in India. The phone made its way to India nearly five months after it was first launched in Brazil, in April. Key specifications within Moto G6 Plus comprises premium glass finish design, narrow bezels, stock Android Oreo, and 5.93-inch full-HD+ display with ‘Max Vision’.

Moto G6 Plus Features

The dual-SIM (Nano) Moto G6 Plus sports a 5.9-inch full HD+ ‘Max Vision’ display, with aspect ratio of 18:9 and narrow bezels, and runs stock Android 8.1 Oreo software with custom Motorola features like Moto Actions and Moto Display. The phone is driven by a 2.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 630 chipset, with 6GB RAM + 64GB storage assistance. Optically, the smartphone features a dual rear camera setup of 12MP + 5MP, with depth-of-field support, good low-light performance, and dual autofocus pixel technology for fast autofocus. Features like selective black and white, spot colour and portrait mode and also present in Moto G6 Plus rear camera. The G6 Plus will also come with Google Lens support embedded into the camera app.

For the front, the G6 Plus employs an 16MP camera with face unlock support. Its design is similar to Moto G6, which means a glass layer on the rear panel, and metal finish in between. It is also curved around the sides for a better grip.

The internal memory is expandable via microSD card, with a 2+1 card slot set up for placing thje microSD card as well as two SIM. The phone will draw power from a 3,200mAh battery, with support from Motorola’s TurboPower adaptor, which the company claims, can deliver 7 hours of usage with 15 minutes charging.

Moto G6 Plus Price and discount offers

Moto G6 Plus will be available in India at a price of Rs. Rs 22,499. During its earlier unveiling in Europe, the phone was launched at a price of Rs. EUR 299 (INR 24,350 approx). The colour options available on Moto G6 Plus in India are Indigo and Gold. The phone will go live for sale, beginning today, via Amazon and Motorola offline stores.

Launch offers available on Moto G6 Plus includes   No Cost EMIs and Rs 3,000 cashback if the device is purchased from an offline store using Paytm Mall app. With Jio typing up for rolling out benefits, cashback vouchers worth Rs 2,200, Cleartrip cashback vouchers worth Rs 1,250, and AJIO discount of Rs 1,000 will be offered to its Jio users. The Jio offer will be exclusively available on Rs 198 and Rs 299 plans only.
