After Moto G5 Plus Lenovo-owned Motorola has launched its trimmed down version – the Moto G5 today at a launch event at the national capital. Amazon is offering 1000 INR off for Moto G5 consumers as Amazon Pay balance.

In Comparision to its recently launched sibling, the Moto G5 will flaunt a smaller screen size of 5-inches with full HD resolution. In terms of optics, the Moto G5 comes with a setup different from its costly plus variant. It bears a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF, f/2.0 and LED flash. Additionally, there’s 5-megapixel front facing camera for selfies. Motorola has paid attention to build quality and has moved away from the Moto G4’s plastic exteriors to a metal body. It gets a fingerprint scanner embedded home button which can also perform multiple actions similar to the Moto G5 Plus. The new Moto runs on a near stock version Android 7.0 Nougat.
Considering its price it has some stiff competition to deal with in Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, Coolpad Cool 1 Dual, and Honor 6X – all of which feature in the same price range.
