Design and Display

Question: How is the Lenovo Moto G4 Plus design?

Answer: Personally, I haven’t been an admirer of Moto G design language. However, this time, Lenovo made few visible changes in the Moto G4 Plus design that feel good. The chunky curved back is replaced by flat, yet economical back. On the front, it features mono speakers just above the display alongside the selfie camera. Below the display we found a fingerprint sensor- which looks rather out of place. Since the fingerprint sensor isn’t an actual button and can’t be used a home button it feels very awkward at first. It would have really interesting if Lenovo had decided to embed fingerprint sensor in its motto dimple.

Camera

Question: How is the Moto G4 Plus camera performance?

Answer: Moto G fourth generation Camera truly outshines every other phone in this category. In fact, DxOMark rated Moto G4 camera better than iPhone 6 which was arguably the benchmark for mobile cameras until iPhone 6s. During our tryout we found the camera to perform very well. The color tones were close to natural, highlights were not overexposed, and shadows were also decent. HDR mode too well on to its ground really well. Overall Moto G4 Plus camera is better than Samsung J7, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and other rivals in this price range. But if you compare it with flagships like S7, you will be disappointed.
