The Moto Edge 40 series has been making the headlines for a long time now. In a recent development, the specifications and features of both Moto Edge 40 and Moto Edge 40 Pro surfaced online. It is being said that the Moto Edge 40 Pro will be the rebranded version of the Moto X40 that is available in the global market. As of now, there are not a lot of details available regarding the smartphones’ design and looks. Moving further in this article, we will discuss about the leaked specifications and features of the devices.

Moto Edge 40 series leaked specifications and features

The Moto Edge 40 Pro could come with a 6.7-inch OLED display along with a 165Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor paired with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.0 storage. The device flaunts a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary shooter along with a 50MP ultra wide-angle shooter with macro shooting sense too.

In addition, it is also being said that the device will rock a 60MP front camera for the sake of selfies and video calls. In terms of battery, it will have a 4,600mAh battery with 125W TurboPower charging support. The Moto Edge 40 will come in four color variants – Viva Magenta, Lunar Blue, Nebula Green, and Eclipse Black.

Talking about the Moto Edge 40, it will ship with a 6.55-inch pOLED display complemented with a 144Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8020 processor with 8Gb LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage. The device may include a 50MP primary sensor and a 13MP ultrawide angle shooter.

On the front, we will get to see a 32MP front snapper for capturing selfies and attending video calls. It will draw power from a 4,400 mAh battery along with 68W fast charging support. The device will be available in two color variants – Quartz Black and Angel Falls.
