Motorola had been out of the smartphone market for quite some time in the recent past, specifically in India. The brand was earlier purchased by Google and later it was acquired by Lenovo. Currently Motorola is owned by Lenovo and has been creating some excellent smartphones like Motorola Droid Turbo, Motorola Moto G, and not to forget, an excellent low budget smartphone, Moto E. And in 2015, we witnessed Motorola launching advanced versions of the same smartphones by suffixing their names with “second generation”. Recently unveiled Moto E 4G is now available for purchase in India via online shopping partner Flipkart.
The second generation smartphone looks more or less the same as the previous version of Moto E, but there are a few obvious upgrades to be noticed in the newer variant. Moto E 4G features a 64-bit, 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 401 SoC in comparison to Moto E 3G’s 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 SoC. Moreover, Moto E 4G (2nd gen) is 4G enabled which makes it way more demandable than the previous Moto E. The new Moto E packs 8 GB of internal storage space which is expandable up to 32 GB and runs on Android Lollipop platform. The smartphone inboxes a 5 MP primary camera but misses a flash again as in the previous version. A VGA front camera remains intact in both versions of Moto E.
