Molekule Air Mini with PECO Air Purification Technology Launched in India

Molekule is a San Francisco-based company founded by Dr. D. Yogi Goswami that deals in Air Purification solutions. The company has launched its Air Mini cleaner with proprietary PECO (photo-electrochemical oxidation) technology in India. It is designed to cleanse a large room up to 23 sq meters in size.

Molekule Air Mini Specs

Air Mini is equipped with a hybrid of Pre-Filter and PECO-Filter in a single filter. The PECO filter comes coated with a catalyst, that gets activated by UV-A light and emits hydroxyl radicals capable of destroying the molecular bonds of viruses, bacteria, mold, allergen, odors, pollen, dander, and other particulate matter in the ambient air.

The company claims this process is tested to be ozone-free, quiet (36-62dBA depending on the fan speed), and efficient at killing airborne pollutants. The fan speed can be adjusted up to 5 levels. The stated power consumption is between 18-53 watts.
